Affiliate Program Terms

1. Eligibility and approval

• Anyone 18 or older with a MagstoneRN account can apply, including nursing students, nurses, educators, and creators. Apply from the affiliate dashboard.
• We review every application by hand. You are an affiliate once we approve your application.
• If you have a large audience, you can ask about a paid partnership in your application.

2. Your link and code

• Once approved, you get a referral link with a code you choose, in the form https://www.magstonern.com/?ref=YOURCODE. Adding ?ref=YOURCODE to the address of any other MagstoneRN page works the same way.
• When someone opens your link, their browser remembers your code for 30 days. If they open another affiliate's link after yours, the last link they opened decides the referral.
• If your code is also set up as a MagstoneRN discount code, a student who opens your link gets that discount applied automatically at checkout for the Monthly plan, if they qualify for it.
• If we give you a discount code and a student enters it at checkout, the discount code decides the referral, even over a link. On the Monthly plan, a discount applied from a link leaves no field for entering another code, so the code already applied decides the referral.

3. How commissions are earned

You earn $5.00 for each student who signs up through you, or a different amount if we agree one with you in writing. It counts only after that student's first payment goes through.

• Monthly and Annual plans start with a 5-day free trial for first-time subscribers. Starting a free trial does not count by itself. The commission counts when the first charge after the trial succeeds.
• A Lifetime purchase counts when it is paid.
• You earn one commission per student, ever.
• Students who have paid for MagstoneRN before do not count.
• Referring yourself does not count.
• Commissions count only while your affiliate account is approved.

4. Holds and reversals

Each commission is held for 30 days. If the payment is refunded in full or charged back during that time, the commission is canceled. Otherwise the commission is approved after the hold ends. If a dispute over the payment is still open then, approval waits until the dispute closes.

5. Payouts and taxes

• We pay approved commissions by PayPal, in US dollars, once a month, when your approved balance is at least $10.00. A smaller balance rolls over to the next month.
• You are responsible for your own taxes. We may ask you for a tax form, such as IRS Form W-9 or W-8BEN, before a payout.

6. Disclosure

Whenever you share your link or code, you must say clearly that you earn a commission, for example: "I earn a commission if you sign up through my link." This follows the FTC's Endorsement Guides (opens in a new tab).

7. Prohibited conduct

You may not:

• hide the disclosure in section 6;
• run paid search ads on MagstoneRN brand terms;
• send spam or unsolicited messages;
• post codes on coupon or deal sites;
• post fake reviews;
• make pass-rate, "guaranteed pass", or score claims;
• say MagstoneRN is endorsed by or affiliated with NCSBN, a school, or a board of nursing;
• share paid practice questions or screenshots of paid content;
• offer cash back or other incentives to sign up;
• refer yourself or commit any other fraud.

Breaking these rules can mean losing unpaid commissions and removal from the program.

8. Brand use

Use the MagstoneRN name only to describe the product truthfully. Do not use MagstoneRN logos or run ads that look official without our permission.

9. Independent relationship

You take part as an independent affiliate. You are not an employee or agent of MagstoneRN and cannot act on its behalf.

10. Ending and changes

• We can change or end the program. We post changes on this page with a new "Last updated" date, and they apply going forward. Commissions already approved are still paid. If we end the program, we pay approved balances even when they are under $10.00.
• Deleting your MagstoneRN account deletes your affiliate profile and code, including your PayPal email, so unpaid commissions can no longer be paid. If you have an approved balance, ask us to pay it by emailing sales@magstoneprep.com before you delete your account. We keep commission and payout records, including the PayPal email each payout went to, as business and tax records.

11. Privacy

Your application holds your display name, contact email, PayPal email, links to your channels, an optional note about your audience, your code and when you accepted these terms. We use it, with your commission and payout records, to review your application, credit commissions and pay you. When we pay you, PayPal receives your PayPal email and the payout amount.

You see counts, dates, plans, amounts and statuses of the purchases you referred, never the names, emails or account details of the students who bought. The Privacy Policy has the details.

12. These terms and the Terms of Service

The Terms of Service still apply to your MagstoneRN account. Their section 6, Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability, also applies to the affiliate program. Where these terms and the Terms of Service differ about the affiliate program, these terms apply.
